Gunnar Jarring Lectures 
Gunnar Jarring 1907-2002 | | Each year, the SRII, organizes a lecture in honour of the turcologist, former ambassador and chairman of the SRII, the late Gunnar Jarring.
The 2009 lecture will given by prof. Johan Elverskog on the subject "Buddhism and Islam on the Silkroad", in the auditorium at the
Östasiatiska Museum Tuesday October 13.
